Isabelle Clarke’s Self Tanning and Face Contour Routine

Being a beauty trend setter, our babe Isabelle knows all the tricks when it comes to self tanning and contouring to achieve a natural, bronzed glow. Her go-to self tan when she needs a quick glow-up is the Bondi Sands 1 Hour Express Range! This lightweight, fast acting tanning formula is perfect for the busy Bondi Babe as it will, leave your skin with a genuine bronzed glow after just one hour of wear.

Prep Your Base

To achieve Isabelle’s results, you need to ensure you’ve prepped your skin correctly. Ensure you exfoliate and shave/wax at least 24 hours prior to tanning and wait at least an hour after showering to prevent the tan from settling into your pores. Our best tools for exfoliating your skin are our Exfoliation Mitt or Body Scrubs. If you have any previous tanning product leftover on your skin, we recommend removing with our Tan Eraser Gel. Hydrate Pre-Glow

Isabelle’s next step is to moisturise with our new Everyday Skincare Daydream Moisturiser on her face and our Bondi Sands Moisturiser on any dry areas like the elbows, knees and ankles. This will prevent the tan from deepening in typically dryer areas, leaving you with a flawless, even tan.  

Head-To-Toe Glow in Just 1 Hour

For a head-to-toe Express glow, Isabelle uses our Bondi Sands 1 Hour Express Self Tanning Foam. This hydrating, lightweight formula is perfect for time-poor tanners who are looking to achieve a genuine tan, minus the wait time.

Using our Application Mitt to buff and blend product into her skin, Isabelle applies the 1 Hour Express Self Tanning Foam to her body and uses long sweeping motions to buff and blend product into her skin for a flawless result. Once she finished applying the product to her body, Isabelle uses the excess product leftover on the Mitt to apply to her face. Time for Face Contour!

Isabelle recommends using the 1 Hour Express Self Tanning Face Mist to contour her face for when she’s time-poor, and it’s the perfect self tan to use when your face needs a little tan top up!

Here is Isabelle’s go-to guide on acing that face contour every time:

Step 1: Ensure face is clean, dry and free from any product.

Step 2: Begin by spraying a little of the Mist onto an Application Mitt and applying to the face to create a bronzed base.

Step 3: Spray 1 Hour Express Self Tanning Face Mist onto a makeup brush and apply to the areas you would usually use bronzer. Blend in small circular motions.

Step 4: Rinse skin after one hour for sculpted, glowing skin.

If you’re wanting something extra, try applying product onto Application Mitt. Dip a fine tip makeup brush into the product and lightly dot across face to resemble a faux freckle look.

Rinse it off

Isabelle likes to leave her Express Tan on for 1 hour and then rinses off to get a bronzed glow, always patting the skin dry to protect the fresh tan, then she is ready to go!

If you’re looking for a light to medium tan, we recommend washing off after 30 minutes and for the darkest result rinse off after 2-3 hours.
